- Tiranga (flag): saffron on top, white in the middle with the navy-blue Ashoka Chakra (24 spokes), green at the bottom.
- State Emblem: adapted from the Lion Capital of Sarnath; the motto is Satyameva Jayate (Truth alone triumphs).
- National Anthem: Jana Gana Mana — written by Rabindranath Tagore.
- National Song: Vande Mataram — written by Bankim Chandra Chatterjee.
