Multiplication Worksheets for Class 2 & 3 — Free Printable PDF

Multiplication is repeated addition. 3 × 4 means 3 groups of 4 = 4 + 4 + 4 = 12. Class 2 and Class 3 children practise multiplication tables (2 to 10), single-digit × single-digit, and simple word problems. These free printable worksheets are CBSE/NCERT aligned with answer keys.

The rule, simply

  • Order does not matter: 3 × 4 = 4 × 3 = 12.
  • Anything multiplied by 1 gives the same number: 7 × 1 = 7.
  • Anything multiplied by 0 gives 0: 5 × 0 = 0.
  • Skip counting helps build tables — for the 2 times table, count: 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 …
  • In word problems, look for signal words: each, every, groups of, times.
