Punctuation Worksheet — Class 2, 3, 4 Free PDF

Punctuation marks are the small signs — full stop (.), comma (,), question mark (?), exclamation (!) — that tell the reader where a sentence pauses, ends, or asks something. Combined with capital letters at the start of names and sentences, they make writing easy to read. This page collects free Punctuation worksheets for Class 2, 3 and 4.

The rule, simply

  • Capital letter — start of every sentence, and the first letter of names (Ravi, India, Monday).
  • Full stop (.) — at the end of a statement. I am happy.
  • Question mark (?) — at the end of a question. Where are you?
  • Exclamation mark (!) — for strong feelings. Wow! That is amazing!
  • Comma (,) — for short pauses and to separate items in a list. I bought apples, bananas, and oranges.
